New School for Mentally Ill

Washington DC just spent $32 million on a facility, which opened this week to serve nearly 260 children with severe mental disabilities. Students are those whose needs cannot be met by the city's educational system. Students range in age from 3 to 22 and have a variety of disability types including physical disabilities (wheelchairs), Down's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy among many others. That’s really some good news. Good thing the government is giving much attention to these children. They deserve more than what normal children have. I am pretty excited for them.

Please change the title from mentally ill to mentally disabled – VERY DIFFERENT school, learning, teaching methodolgy, etc.
