FAPE - Free Appropriate Public Education

Definition: FAPE is a partnership that aims to improve the educational outcomes for children with disabilities. Children with disabilities are entitled to a free and appropriate public education. Schools districts must provide special education and related services to meet the needs of exceptional students.
