I started working on creating a place to save and share secondary resources for those of you who work in middle schools and high schools. I've moved some of the helpful articles written by Eileen Bailey, my guest writer for dyslexia. She wrote with an eye to secondary students, since one of her children in high school was struggling with the challenges of dyslexia. I hope you will find them helpful. I also created a new article on Developmental Reading, which helps secondary students assess meaning and succeed in content area classes.
I will first expand new resources for reading in the content areas, especially writing about guided notes and graphic organizers. Then, I'll be writing lot of articles on functional math skills. Hope I can help those of you working with an older population of students with disabilities.
