Here are some creative ideas for modifications and accommodations for students with learning disabilities. After all, special educators are always trying to find ways to maximize learning for all students.
Needless to say, I think it goes without saying that you will always need to be patient and promote self-esteem whenever you work with students with learning disabilities.
- Using differentiated instruction and assessment.
- Using direct teaching strategies for those who need it.
- Helping with oral comprehension.
