Scare up Some Fun!

Thursday October 25, 2007
Motivate your students with some great Halloween fun activities. Try a few of these ideas to stimulate writing:
  • Do a quick brainstorm of how many things can you think of that are orange or black?
  • How many scary things can you think of?
  • How many scary words can you think of?
  • What are all the things that could happen in a haunted house?
  • How many different halloween costumes can you think of?
  • If you could plan the best halloween party ever, what would it be like?
Writing about Halloween can be motivating for the most reluctant writers, take this opportunity to stimulate their creative thinking and writing skills.

Try some of these Halloween worksheets or Halloween crafts to kick it up a notch.
